Vintage Mattel Doll Skipper Barbie Sister Tagged Dress Japan Shoes + Case 1963. Condition is "Used" and "Vintage".This Skipper doll is dated 1963 on her hip.  The case is dated 1964. Skipper is Barbie's sister.  She has long red hair and a painted face.  She is in good vintage condition, but not pristine since she has seen hours of playtime.  She has a black marker pen "39" on her back.  I am not certain why or how this mark came to Skipper, but the mark did not come off for me.  She does not have offensive odors and her joints move easily.  She does not have missing fingers.  She wears a Skipper tagged dress.  She has two pairs of shoes, one black and one red.  The black shoes are labeled JAPAN.  The Skipper case is in poor and used condition.  The vinyl covering has tears and some stains.  The case hardware is working to keep the doors closed.  The handle on top is also secure.  Skipper has three other outfits that are hand sewn.  They hang in her closet with doll clothes hangers, but the skirt and slip do not have hangers.  The blue slip does have a black Barbie tag.  She loves her pink polka dot puppy and her flower basket.  The dog is labeled A.G.C.
