    Description

1979 Crestliner 21-1/2 Foot Cabin Cruiser With MagicTilt MagicLoader Dual-Axle Trailer PROJECT
    - Full forward cabin with galley, water supply with manual pump faucet and sink, 2-burner alcohol stove, icebox, seating that converts to bed, and hull intake manual water pump marine toilet/head with vented storage tank and cleanout port.  Has swim platform with folding ladder, custom 2-piece vinyl fabric top with removable clear plastic side curtains/windows, single zipper entry and roll-up rear window shade, convertible table that can be used on rear deck or in cabin, 5 enclosed storage areas plus small galley drawer, anchor rope stowage and 2 built-in bait/catch/ice bins with drains.  AM/FM adjustable sound system with cabin and deck speakers.  Has small cabin fan for air circulation.  Depth finder and marine radio with antenna are included.  Provision for two 12-volt batteries (includes four-mode switch).  Has forward hatch and anchor rack on foredeck.  Dual electric horns.  Also has electric windshield wiper.  Mercruiser 228 (Chevrolet 305 cubic inch V-8) inboard/outboard engine/drive with adjustable trim setting.  Heat exchangers and upper water hoses were replaced before storage.  2 engine compartment power vents.  Automatic electric bilge pump.  Trailer has hydraulic brakes on front axle.  All trailer tires including spare have a minimum of 8/32" tread.
This vessel and trailer have been stored on jack stands under tarps for approximately 10 years.  All mechanical and electrical systems on boat and trailer will need inspection, cleaning, and perhaps repairs/replacement.  All systems functioned normally when this boat was stored, but time and corrosion may have affected them negatively.  The toilet/head has been used 2 or 3 times since it and the collection tank were installed.  All upholstery (other than the top, which has been used twice since replacement) needs to be redone and replaced, as it has deteriorated (see photos); this includes the carpeting and cabin headliner.  Corrosion is evident on some interior parts.  Most of the wood trim needs refinishing.  Translucent forward hatch cover has darkened. Trailer tire sidewalls show cracking.  An undetermined amount of fuel was siphoned off before storage, and the gasoline remaining in the tank was treated with Sta-Bil fuel storage conditioner.  Some wood trim was removed and refinished and will need to be reinstalled.  Some fasteners and trim parts may need replacement.  The topside has been repainted with marine paint, and the hull has been prepared to be repainted as well.  Some marine paint for this is included in the sale.
This boat and trailer will be
SOLD AS IS - WHERE IS - NO WARRANTY EXPRESS NOR IMPLIED
    on a
    Bill of Sale only
.  I will prepare separate bills of sale for the boat and the trailer to make it easier for the buyer to register them, and to simplify things if the buyer wants to separate the boat from the trailer after purchase.  Buyer is responsible for safely removing boat and trailer from premises upon purchase.  Buyer is responsible for registering both boat and trailer after purchase.
If you are enthusiastic about renovating a very nicely designed, fun, and comfortable vintage cabin cruiser and don't mind doing the considerable work necessary to finish this project, please bid on this one.
