Philadelphia Phillies Shibe Park / Connie Mack Stadium Etching.
Nice etching of the old Shibe Park, the stadium that had been the home of the Phillies and the A’s. Image is approximately 5x8 inches and it is matted and framed to 9x12. Wonderful detail throughout. The artist, Philip C. Thompson did a series of etchings capturing each of baseball’s stadiums. These were limited edition etchings. I believe they were limited to a series of 150, but am unsure as this is identified as an Artist’s Proof. It is pencil signed and dated 94. The artist’s card is on the back of the frame and identifies his gallery in Michigan. Great piece for the Phillies fan or baseball lover.
