Here is a beautiful and truly a "one of a kind" modified 38' Fountain Sport Cruiser with 365 hours. This model is essentially a 38' Lightning hull from the rub rail down including Mercruiser factory racing engines and running gear but has a taller upper hull to allow more practical use of the cabin space. The cockpit space has been modified to maintain the go-fast architecture and she sounds as good as she looks from Fountain's signature elegant lines to the high performance rumble from her Mercruiser Racing 502's. This boat has been stored indoors and is very well maintained with many updates.
Power
She's powered by a pair of Mercruiser Racing HP500's with 372 hours backed by Bravo One outdrives with polished stainless steel propellers. These engines have very tall camshafts producing a very distinctive choppy idle with a high performance sound to them. They are very tough engines and are routinely supercharged to produce 750 hp each. The HP500 is rated at 475 HP each and uses 89 octane fuel making them very user friendly and cost effective to run. Both engines and outdrives run perfectly and are ready for the water.
The exhaust has been upgraded with jacketed extensions mixing water just inches from the exhaust tips to protect against water intrusion.
The generator has been upgraded to a fuel injected Kohler 5KW. It is load tested and runs perfectly.
This boat uses "k-planes" rather than trim tabs providing much more trim force at high speed.
Also included are dual batteries, charger, auto fire suppression, dual 1100GPM automatic bilge pumps, and electric hatch lifts. Both engine trim and k-plane indicators are mechanical style for accuracy and reliability.
Deck
The entire deck area is in excellent condition. All of the upholstery is soft with good color and tight seams. The bolster seats are electric hydraulic and controlled with a switch on the armrest. The stereo system uses a Kenwood head unit with separate amplifier for the deck system which uses two custom built subwoofers and component style mid and tweeter for better sound separation.
Cabin
The cabin has plenty of head room and is in like new condition including the original Fountain throw pillows with embroidered insignia. It has air conditioning with reverse heat
new in 08'and sleeps four. The Galley consists of a sink with pressure hot and cold water, refrigerator, and microwave. The head is well lit and consists of a Vacu-flush head unit, sink, shower, and of course hot and cold water. And all of the mood lighting on deck, in the cabin, and gauge back lights are coordinated in blue led.
Hull
The hull is in excellent condition with very elegant and sleek lines. The gel coat has a beautiful clear polished luster and all of the mooring cleats are retractable in keeping with a sleek look.

Transport
The trailer in the photos is an aluminum triple-axle with disc brakes and 15,000lb GVW. This is a good roadworthy trailer. Since not all buyers require a trailer, it is for sale to the auction winner for my cost of 50.00.
