    THE BIPE
    old time stunt to build a great classic model from the 1950s.
    In the early days of UC, just after World War II, Harold deBolt put out this
    THE BIPE  22"
    wing span biplane that would do all the stunts you could imagine. Remember the AMA Stunt Pattern was not formalized until 1952. So the flat bottomed airfoil needed to be upgraded to a symmetrical airfoil to add more maneuverability.
    His first
    THE BIPE
    plan with a flat bottomed airfoil is shown on this new copy of that original kit
    PLAN
    . The next version was called
    THE NEW BIPE
    with a fully symmetrical airfoil. I INCLUDE COPIES OF THE PRINTWOOD PARTS PATTERNS.
