This is a "pre-owned" Antique Brass Medallion Thread Cutter Necklace from 2001
Remember after 9-11 you couldn't fly with scissors or any sharp object?
Well these cutters were allowed and it is functional and decorative!
No doubt you can cut thread and probably yarn.
Unfortunately I never needed it so I never used it!
Mediallon is approximately 1 1/4" wide and the thin leather necklace with pendant hangs about 14" The necklace has a toggle and clasp bar closure.
