    Description

    This fabulous ca. 1960s blue Lucite ring is new old stock from the Best Plastics Company, maker of some of the best quality vintage Lucite you will ever find. The design is referred to as tone-on-tone, with two shades of stripes that are alternatingly translucent and clear. The ring was made by a similar extrusion process as with striped bangles you may have seen, although the shape is more of a fat saucer than a dome. It measures 1/2” wide, tapering to 5/16” in the back, and 3/16” at the thickest. The ring is a 7 1/2 on my ring sizer, although I would recommend it for a slightly smaller finger. The chunky shape has a tendency to make the finger bulge around it (not a flattering look), so you can use that little extra space to avoid that problem.
    The ring is new old stock so it has never been used, and in outstanding shape.
