Butterscotch Swirl Bakelite Ring, Size 7.5

Description

This fun, chunky Bakelite ring is a muted butterscotch hue with subtle butter marbling. The ring may have been more of an "egg yolk" color in the past, eventually mellowing down to the current butterscotch shade. The ring is fairly opaque, although the band is a bit translucent when held to the light. You can also see the marbling best on the band. I photographed it in and out of bright sunlight, with the darker photos better indicating the actual color. Nicely sized at 7 1/2, it's larger than many Bakelite rings you can find. The face of the ring consisists of two 5/8" half circles that meet at a point in the center.
Condition is excellent with light, age-appropriate wear. The butterscotch color hides this well.
