The Speedy Special is cast from aluminum and consists of one upper and one lower shell, which can either be poured at your local foundry and you needn't make elaborate patterns if you use the following procedure.

If you do not have a local foundry you may wish to build in using fiberglass or carbon fiber)
Consulting your full size plans, carve an upper and lower shell from soft balsa, making certain no undercuts exist. Sand smooth and then fill the pours with wood filler.
The Speedy Special was initially powered with The Forster 29 engine, through 2-1 ratio steel spur gears driving the front wheels
