MODEL SPOTLIGHT
The Shelby GT continues the long association between Ford and Shelby, bringing more style, speed, and performance to the Mustang. Only 6,000 Ford Mustang GT's were shipped from Flat Rock, MI to Las Vegas, NV, to transform to the Shelby GT. The cars are treated to a cold-air intake, high flow exhaust (with X pipe), a performance software update, a stouter rear end differential, and a slick, short-throw Hurst shifter. The Shelby team paid special attention to the suspension on the GT - a new suspension includes an inch and a half lower and stiffer springs, performance shocks, and anti-roll bars system, and a twin-tube strut tower brace. A billet aluminum grille, silver stripes, a hood scoop, hood pins, and revised badging round out the package. The resulting Shelby produced 319hp and 330 ft-lbs of torque and outclassed the Mustang GT in every objective performance category.

This Shelby Mustang was purchased new in July 2007 by the original owner. After nearly 14 years of ownership and, less than 3K mi of driving the couple offered the Shelby GT to AlphaCars because of our car-enthusiast reputation.
CONDITION
This Shelby GT is in astounding condition. Factory original paint and body panels matching the clean CarFax report are better than new condition, thanks to the extensive level of paint conditioning and the impressive Level III Ceramic Pro application completed by our Ceramic Pro Technician. Glass, stripes, and exterior brightwork are pristine. The interior delights with its condition and originality. Everything works - all electronics, climate controls, lights/pixels, window switches work as they did from the factory. There are no blemishes to report in the leather, carpets, door cards, or other trim, and it retains a new car smell. The undercarriage is as beautiful as the exterior. There is no rust of any kind. The undercarriage also retains the factory-applied stickers, also in pristine condition. Fasteners are original, untouched since this vehicle left the Shelby facility in 2007. All service is up to date. The Shelby GT starts with authority and pulls strongly throughout the rev range at all speeds. The Hurst short-throw shifter is a delight, moving with precise, rifle-bolt action. There are no strange sounds from the suspension, which keeps the Shelby GT under tight control. This car is nothing short of impeccable.
