    Description

Don't let the salvage title put you off.  This car is in better condition than any 2007 you are going to find and the damage that got the title was minor (photos to back this up).  I've owned the car since 11/2018 and 42223 miles.  It now has just over 62,000 miles (yes, it is a daily driver.).  The convertible roof window had started to sag and a small crack has developed in the front bumper.  It also has a minor separation forming in the driver side seat that will require replacenty of the leather or a minor repair.  As I've decided to sell, I'm lowering the price and  selling as is.  The complete top and window cost about 0, the seat, another 0 plus installation.
Have done the following and have receipts
    :
New cloth roof and rear heated glass window installed over the weekend
    Complete paint
Complete stripe with Shelby stripe kit from the factory
Added (last 100 miles) slotted and cross drilled rotors and racing brakes
Diablo tune to add approximately 40 hp to the 325 stock HP from the factory.  This car has its original engine still wired in as when it left the factory.  They were equipped with (4.6 liter) 281 CU IN, 325hp, 320 ft lb of torque, 9.8:1 compression.
Redone the door panels to repair the delamination characteristic of these cars, panels are as new.
    New tires
    Oil change
Air bag service (for the faulty air bags that was a recall)
    Trans filter and fluid change
    New plugs
New hub assembly for front rotors.
    Air filter
    This is CSM 07h0119 (#119 of 500).
Car runs and drives perfectly (I drove it here from CA when I bought it and before I did any of the work above - excellent driving car).  AC blows cold, it does not pull or have abnormal tire wear of any type.  Transmission shifts normally even under hard acceleration.  Paint on the main body of the car is a 10 of 10, lower front valence is 8 of 10 due to scraping going in/out of drive.  Roof is excellent.
A number of people have asked about the damage that resulted in the title...I've added photos from the prior owner showing what I was told the damage was.  As you can see, the damage looks to be superficial and it is certainly consistent with what I've seen on closer examination and in doing the work I've done to the car since purchasing it in 2018.
I am open to partial trades up or down for 60's era big block Mustangs and Shelbys (any condition) or interesting deals on later model performance cars.  I can be reached at 713-825-0383 Curtis Burton.
If you don't know, one thing that helps these hold value is there were only 500 of them produced in both 2006(hardtop) and 2007 (convertible).  Due to the low numbers they tend to hold their values much better than the other Shelbys of that period which were produced in much higher numbers.
Advertised quarter mile time was 13.8 seconds at 101...just for grins...that is FASTER than a stock 428CJ from 1968-70.  0-60 was advertised to be 5.3 seconds.  This car due to the Diablo tune will better both those numbers, I'm sure.
PLEASE NOTE;  I WILL NOT SELL THIS CAR TO ANYONE WITHOUT EITHER THEIR PERSONAL INSPECTION PRIOR TO THE SALE OR THAT OF THEIR REPRESENTATIVE.  MY GOAL IS YOUR SATISFACTION AND THE ONLY WAY TO ENSURE YOU ARE BUYING WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE BUYING IS FOR YOU OR YOUR REP TO INSPECT IT WHEN IT COMES TO AN AUTOMOBILE.
