Forepaugh Aggregation Circus Trade Cards: Monster Gorilla & Robert Stickney
Antique Victorian trade cards from the Adam Forepaugh Circus, operating from 1867 to 1894.
In my research, I found that The Adam Forepaugh Circus was called the Great
Forepaugh
Aggregation from 1873 to 1885, with its heyday from about 1880-85.
Each is a 3-1/8" x 5-1/2" lithograph print with the same advertising on the back as shown.
Aside from a bit of loss to one corner of the Gorilla card, and general yellowing of the card stock from age, they are very nice. Please see the pictures for more details.
