Description
Today I offer a brand new old stock (NOS) 1990 Portland Trail Blazers / Far West Federal promotional poster. This is an original promotional poster provided in and around the Portland, Oregon area during the 1990 NBA Playoffs and Finals run. This poster was NOT made available to the public for sale, but only provided at local Far West Federal locations to new customers with the opening of a checking or savings account... and that's exactly what I did! I was working as a courtesy van driver for Red Lion at Jantzen Beach during that time and I saw the promotion on the window at the FWF in Downtown Portland (6th Street if I remember correctly). T
hose of you locals around at that time know exactly what and where I'm talking about! I opened a savings account with what little money I had as a part-time working / full-time college student, and the poster was mine! And here it is, all these years later ready for a new home.
This poster measures approximately 27" x 33" and is brand new and have never been hung nor displayed. There are not any tack holes, no tape, no rips or tears. There is some visible light bend marks and a few light creases as is somewhat normal for a 33 year-old original poster, but this one would do very well after being matted and framed. Please see photos of ACTUAL poster listed for sale as I never use stock photos... and I did my best to capture this one as it's worst (at angles showing visible bends). As previously mentioned, it's been rolled for more than 32 years, so once it's laid flat and framed, it will look fantastic. This really is a rare piece of Portland Trail Blazers history from a golden era in the franchise.
I take great pride in my ebay feedback and shipping practices and guarantee your poster will ship in a safe and sturdy cardboard shipping tube the very next business day after payment is received. Sorry for the high shipping cost... it's the size of the tube, not the weight that's the issue here.
Thanks for looking and please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
