176 built, this is #77. I bought this car in the spring and have done extensive upgrades to it since. For specifics on the Aurora itself go to

this will give you the history. This will also save a lot of questions if you are not aware of the car.
This is a 1983 Aurora Cobra Mark II. Powered by a 445hp 383 stroker with a 700R transmission with Overdrive. Over the past few months there has been wiring upgrades, new fuel pump, new tires (225/60/15 and 215/60/15) and a fortune on the exhaust. I would consider the paint a 8 out of 10 which was done in the early 90's. The car was originally silver grey from the factory. Interior is in very nice condition. I have the leather wheel the car originally came with which I will install it back on the car. I have the original roof, bows and side curtains. The roof itself is usable but is tatty and needs to be replaced using the original as a template. Weighing a little over 2000 lbs with 445 HP makes for a very quick car but I have never tested its potential.
It is my 5th Aurora and 13th "Cobra" including an original way, way back when so I have some knowledge about them. I am not interested in fielding questions on why it has a Chevrolet powertrain or automatic transmission etc, it is what it is. If that offends you move on. Like 99% + of "Cobras" out there it is not an authentic Shelby it is an Aurora. It was factory built complete not as a kit, has a proper 17 digit VIN, was sold through select dealers with limited warranty and met all the safety regulations of the day. Still has the 5 mph bumpers and steel beams in the doors. The original Aurora mold Was splashed from CSX 2013. This car starts right up every time and runs in a normal temperature range on the street.
