    You are bidding on a new set of plans for a 1/12 Scale Gotha Go 242B-1 / 244B-1. It includes the Plans and templates/patterns for cutting the parts for this beauty. The plans show how to build both the 242 glider version and the 244 powered version using electric motors or small glow engines. Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out.  These plans are in perfect condition. All of my items come from a totally smoke free environment.

    The
    Gotha Go 242
    was a transport glider used by the Luftwaffe during World War II. The aircraft was a high-wing monoplane with a simple square-section fuselage ending in twin booms linked by a tail, with the fuselage constructed from a framework of steel tubing covered with doped fabric. The flight characteristics of the design were much better than those of the DFS 230.Cargo versions of the glider featured a hinged rear fuselage loading ramp that could accommodate a small vehicle such as a Kubelwagen or loads of similar size and weight.
